Hi there, I'm Claire
I'm a project manager. A parent. An expat based in Paris, France.
A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually evolved into a fresh chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to France wasn't in the plan for the long term. As with many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something much larger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Daily tasks seemed more complex than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet over time, routines emerged. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began crafting something that felt steady.
Why I Built Garden Pulse Zone
Much of the online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a frank, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in France.
What This Site Represents (And What It Does Not)
This site IS:
- Hands-on experience from living in France
- Centered on family life and everyday realities
- Updated whenever there is a meaningful change
This site ISN'T:
- A travel authority resource
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- Just another generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in France continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Paris or anywhere in France, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Claire
